The importance of drinking water seems to have gone unnoticed by medical research. The benefits of water are many and how much water you should drink in a day are essential to know to stay healthy.
It may be a surprise to you but did you know that your body has many, many signals that tell you that some part of your body needs water? There is such a thing as body drought.I’ll tell you the signs later but first you need to know that the medical profession has been treating these “symptoms” with medication that suppresses these signals which then leads to chronic dehydration and the permanent damage this can cause.
First some background data on the body’s genetic line: Our body’s ancestors were species that were given life in water and left that environment to live on land. While in the ocean there was no problem with water shortages – water was everywhere. Moving onto land, a water monitoring and control system had to be evolved – and it was. This system would – and still does – move water from one part of the body to another as required. This monitor picks up a signal that there’s a need for water in some part of the body, it notifies the control system and water is moved from the body’s reserves to the body’s “drought” affected area. The trouble starts when there is a time of water shortage in the whole body and it must maintain a good water supply to essential areas. It must rob Peter to pay
Paul so to speak so it strips water from lets say the bones to keep the brain functioning properly.
You get the idea, so what are these dehydration signals?
One you will all recognize is the dry mouth. Your mouth gets dry so you drink something – hopefully water! But the dry mouth is actually one of many in a sequence of signals that you need to drink water.
Here is a list of some of the body’s signals that it needs water:
Anginal painDyspepsiaRheumatoid painBack pain HeadachesLeg pain on walking
Yes, these pains are the body’s signal that this area of the body is in “drought.” They are commonly medicated by the medicos to suppress these “symptoms” – no attempt is made to cure them and so the “drought” continues and the condition gets worse, sometimes leading to heroic methods of treatment but never any cure. Why no cure? Because the cure is water!Watch out for my series of articles which will explain how the medicos got into this situation and how we can change that.
I hope you found this interesting – there will be more.
